THE 2024 PUBLIC TOUR DATES ARE OPEN!!
The Fromm Bros. Historical Preservation Society has been working hard to open the tour season for spring, summer and fall of 2024. The board members continue to improve the property and tour format, and we are excited to show all of the hard work that has been accomplished behind the scenes over the past few months. We will have five public tours scheduled in 2024. Tours are scheduled on the half hour beginning at 10:00 a.m. with the last tour beginning at 11:30 a.m. Each tour has a maximum capacity of 20 participants. Tours fill quickly; the times available on each date will be present on the drop-down menu on the “Tour Registration Form”. We will make every effort to honor your requested date and time. All public tours are self-guided; rest assured, there will be volunteers throughout the tour to ask questions and clarify details. Golf cart tours are available for those unable to traverse the property safely.
In the event cancellation is necessary, you will be contacted via the email address you provide. In the event of inclement weather, please call the phone number provided in the confirmation email to obtain the tour status.
These tours are very popular and are limited to 20 people per tour. Due to the limited availability, we ask that if you sign up for a tour, please do so with the intention of attending. If you decide you cannot attend the tour you have reserved, we kindly ask you to cancel this reservation at least 48 hours prior to the tour date. By doing so, we can contact people on the wait list so the tour can go forward.
IMPORTANT:
This is a rustic, rural property with uneven ground. Our tour is a walking tour up to 1.5 miles and is NOT handicapped accessible. Please consider these restrictions when signing up for a tour.
The 2024 tours also have a golf cart assisted tour for those unable to walk long distances. The buildings are not handicap accessible; however, we have a golf cart on the grounds for those unable to walk on uneven ground. Please state this need in the “comment” area of the tour sign-up form so we can assist and plan for these needs. Seating is limited, so please designate this request as soon as possible so we can do our best to accommodate your needs.
Please visit our “Events Calendar” area for available tour dates; or scroll down and click the box under “Public Tour Dates” and select the tour date and time preferred, then complete the Tour Request Form. Once the form is complete, be sure to click “Submit” on the bottom of the form.
Once this form has been completed, a tour confirmation will be sent to the email you have provided. Tour availability is limited and on a first to book basis. Tour maximum is set at 20 participants. If there are more than this number in your group, please sign-up for two start times. Each tour takes approximately 1.5 hours.
There is no charge for the tour; however, a suggested donation of $5.00 is much appreciated to help our non-profit continue to improve the grounds, museum and provide tours. You may also visit the “Donations” page to make a tax-deductible contribution to the Fromm Bros. Historical Preservation Society. A donation is tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
